Franklin Park Playground

Don’t touch the ground going slide to slide on this unique playground at Franklin Park. Work your way from ground level climbing structures up to the main structure.  Vibe® Roofs, a RingTangle® Climber, Overhead Trekker™ Ladder, Surf Slide, Blender™ Spinner, Hemisphere Climber®, Wobble Pod® Bouncer and much more make up this play area!  Also, this playground has a great story involving the support of their community! Around 80 volunteers from all three Yakima Rotary Clubs spent the majority installing the playground.  In addition, The Yakima Downtown Rotary Club raised a little over $83,000 for the new playground equipment. Because of vandalism and lack of upkeep, the community took it upon themselves to replace the old playground.
